Prom or not prom?

I'm still not sure if I should go to prom this evening or stay at home.

I mean, I'm not in the mood and I'm sure I wouldn't enjoy it much.

Otherwise, my father said, you just go to prom once and that I should go.

But I would prefer to stay at home, wear something comfortable and play videogames or something. Or watch a DVD.
